Direct from the UK MoD, 2200lt Gloster Saro UBRE Fuel Tank.
Designed to support military formations in the field, the UBRE tanks are constructed of AA5454 Aluminium with a design capacity of 2,200 litres.
Internal baffles are fitted and an EMCO quick release lid for top filling and inspection. There is a single pressure/vacuum valve with a captive dip stick fitted for level checks within a spillage bung.
An automatic bottom loading valve is fitted to the tanks allowing loading rates of up to 682lt per minute or off-loading of 455lt per minute. A drain bung is fitted to the skin at the bottom of each tank.
The tank is fitted with forklift pockets mounted on the top of the tank and lifting points for slinging. There are brackets fitted to the base to bolt the tank down where required.
