From the UK Ministry of Defence reserve stock, Fully Reconditioned Rolls Royce/Perkins 290L Eagle Straight 6 Turbo Diesel Engine as fitted to Foden 6×6 Recovery vehicles.

This engine comes complete with new clutch, fitted with starter motor, injector pump, alternator and filters as shown in the pictures.

This Engine is direct from reserve stores and has been fully reconditioned to A1 standard. It is preserved and will require commissioning following fitment.

It is frame mounted and crated for shipment.

UK MoD Basic Field Hygiene Unit (BFHU) is a complete system for providing showers and hot water washing facilities.

Unissued from reserve stocks, and built to a fantastic specification to provide basic hygiene in the field either as a stand alone system, or expandable for larger concentrations of personnel. With component parts from renowned manufacturers such as Lombardini, Sert, Anteon and Salmson

These are capable of operating independently or being integrated into larger camps.

Constituent parts:

It comprises a water heater, water pump, 18 person washbasin kit, Lombardini diesel generator, water tank (2000 litres) tented shower system and back up spares package. The system is capable of heating 800 litres per hour as a single set.

The whole system is easily assembled by hand and a full user guide is included for the construction, operation and maintenance of the system. A spares package is supplied with each set.

Basic description of operation:

The system runs on 110 V, except the washbasin, which is 12 V. All supplied by the included generator set.

The Lombardini Diesel Generator provides power for the whole system, this powers the Sert Kerosene burning water heater, which draws its water through the Salmson water pump from the 2000lt water storage bag.

The water heater houses the electrical distribution box for the water pumps and the in built lighting system for the Basins and Shower tent. The pump distributes the water (either heated or optionally at ambient temperature) to the triple 6 man basins, or to the 4 head shower facility.

All pipes for supply and waste are provided, as are all electrical leads, lamps and tentage tools and accessories.

All elements are included as pictured.

This is a unique opportunity to buy a very high specification, military grade hygiene system which is suitable to either go back into military service or ideal for humanitarian aid support. They are also suitable for a range of civilian uses, including: Outdoor events, camp sites, festivals, remote work sites etc.

Lombardini powered Auxiliary Power unit. Fully remanufactured in 2023 for MoD contract, direct from reserve stores and unissued.
It features a Lombardini LDW1404 GSE 1372cc 35hp liquid cooled diesel engine, fitted to an integrated frame with radiator, fan, alternator, exhaust system etc. The unit has a control panel fitted with system controls and warning indicators and connection points for all services built into the frame.
Supplied in a heavy duty packing case as pictured and is preserved and inhibited from storage.
